Rather than attempting to "improve" on old methods of design and construction in order to draw attention to an amazing engineering superiority, Solderhaus tries to capture the old-school feel and sound by adhering to old principles. The BEST-built amps are from the late 50's to the late 60's. There's no improving on that! Every custom-built amp will share a great deal of the characteristics of those amps.
